This page sets out the disclosures that apply to everything published on gsartzone.com. We would rather state these plainly in one place than bury them, because a reader who knows how a site is funded can judge its recommendations properly.

Some of our articles, particularly the art supply guides, contain affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may receive a small commission from the retailer. The price you pay is exactly the same, and the commission comes out of the retailer’s margin, not your pocket.

They are teaching illustrations, drawn to show a specific construction stage, and are not presented as photographs of a particular artist’s sketchbook.
If you spot an illustration that does not match the step it accompanies, or that shows something anatomically wrong, please tell us. We would rather redraw an image than leave a misleading one on a tutorial.

Drawing and painting are skills, and skills develop at different rates. Our tutorials describe methods that work, but we cannot promise a particular result from a particular tutorial. Paper, pencils, pigments, water quality, and lighting all change how a technique behaves in your hands.
